That question has been bugging me for some time, when you transform a specific NTSCU or PAL .wad to REGIONFREE, there's a alteration within the wad a few lines of code? I answer this because even when I launch a REGIONFREE channel from Gecko OS the app still consider it's native release, for example it say NTSCU even if it has been patched to PAL, and viceversa.

    Just a cultural question [IMG]

I think that regional setting is handled by one byte, and that byte is checked when installing and running, but the actual code int he WAD is different, so even if you have a NTSC to PAL wad and a native PAL wad, they will both be different.
