Its just weird that the 3DS XL has no issue playing ocarina of time 3d and cant do much about old snes titles.
Well... there is a HUGE difference in emulating a sysem in order to play a game, that remaking a game and optimizing the engine to work in another console, that is why the 3ds has a hard time with snes games, by your logic, we would have perfect N64 emulation on the 3ds.

There is a huge difference in optimizing a single game that emulating the entire system, you should check out how powerful a PC has to be in order to have a NEAR perfect SNES emulator...

Since you have a 3DS XL, I guess BlargSNES or Retroarch's CatSFC. BlargSNES runs at full speed for what games it does support (or nearly full speed), but it's compatibility is a bit weak last I checked. CatSFC has a minor annoying issue where the instruments are higher pitched, but it might be hard to notice and is less demanding on the non-New systems.

Otherwise, if you're using a New 3DS XL, try CatSFC Plus. It's the same thing as CatSFC but has the sound issue fixed. PocketSNES is also on the same level of quality, but I have no clue if there are any differences between the two.

So basically the new 3ds run every snes and gba games at full speed? or the dstwo plus is a different kind of techonology and it is most suitable for running these games perfectly?
