Hacking What is the best firmware for an original R4?

Any idea what the best firmware to use for an original, real R4 is? I assume it is a choice between the unofficial 1.24 and ysmenu as 1.18 is extremely old.

YSMenu built on DSTT 1.17a12 with the latest extinfo.dat+infolib.dat+savlib.dat

Check the DSTT section and look around,you'll see that DSTT is catching up(SLOWLY)

Would this work on the M3 DS Simply as well?

Version 1.18 + YSMenu dual boot. Anything that doesn't work with the 1.18 firmware, I play on YSMenu. Anything else I play on 1.18 firmware.
