In terms of the actual flash chip, what is the normal size of a 3DS game save(in KB/MB/GB)? Was just curious! ^_^

Typically pretty small (under a megabyte), though Animal Crossing has a fairly large one, if memory serves (several megabytes? I'd have to double check).

So pretty much the same as the old NDS saves?

Some games that need more than the standard amount save to the ROM (aka card 2 saves), so it's hard to specify the limit for those.

Card 1 saves are probably 512KB to 1MB, but I don't really know. The sizes of the saves I've looked at are pretty dynamic in decrypted form (i.e. most 3DS save managers).

128KB to 512KB for cart eeprom games. Card2 type saves can be several megabytes (usually pokemon games). This is where the actual ROM has a RW portion at the end.

Cart and SD games can also use "extdata" or extended savedata on the SDMC for even more space. I think terraria's is like 25MBs or something, for instance.
