What is Ntrboot, is it important?

and must my ds be modded in some way to use r4 cards, or is it just as simple as putting the micro sd into your computer and downloading nds files

do nds files (game) make sav files automatically ( sav files are just saved files for the game i'm assuming )

can you put sav files in a separate folder from games to keep organized or must they be together

Do the micro sd card for r4 come with any special data for r4 to work or does that data come already on the r4 car

What is Ntrboot, is it important?

it's a modification for an DS flashcart to exploit a vulnerability in a 3DS console to allow to easily install custom firmware into the 3ds console
ntrboot is only compatible with some flashcarts, if you want to modify a 3ds console with cfw, keep an eye for a compatible\ntrboot ready flashcart

if ya using a nintendo DS, DS lite, or DSi, or want to play DS games in a 3ds console, it's as simple as that, but you need to download the flashcart files from the website printed in the card into the micro sd card

i don't think so, the flashcarts i seen for the DS put the sav files next to the nds game file and don't allow you to choose a specific path
you can use any modern OS like windows to view the files separatly in your deskop if you want to manage them.. you can group files by type for example and view the .sav separatly in your pc
