In case you provided a wrong error and actually get the databas error:

Q: I'm getting a "DESCRIPTION_DATABASE_DOES_NOT_EXIST" / "DESCRIPTION_INVALID_DATABASE" error!
A: You likely haven't installed anything from eShop or other locations before. You will need to go to the "Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/dbs/" directory on your SD card and create empty "title.db" and "import.db" files. Then, go to System Settings -> Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software on your 3DS and let it repair the database files.

Oh, I have another question! :O When opening legit DSi Ware titles from eShop on EmuNand, It goes black. It's a hard freeze. What should I do...? I can install on SysNand as it's on 9.0 not 10.2
Sorry, I know I;m on the wrong thread but I thought since you're here, I'd attempt to ask.

I don't know much about DSiware, so you may ask another member in the sticky: Gateway question thread.

Here is the result a quick search gives https://gbatemp.net/threads/dsiware-not-working-in-gateway-mode.393190/ . Not sure whether there is a fix yet.

So, is it safe to install bluecardfix on sysnand...? It's no longer claimed invalid on SysNand... Should I install in Devmode?

Just install it in sysnand.

You are using Gateway so you are recommended by Gateway to install that fix. Installing CIA onto NAND always poses a risk (just like when you back up your NAND), it's the user responsibility to do it right, so no comment.

Attempted. Claimed invalid on install. Come on, Gateway! Just get it right! T-T

I recently installed my back up emunand into a larger sd card using the emunand tool.
The 2 cia game files that were on the emunand before the back up work fine after I reinstalled the emunand on the larger sd card.
But any new cia files I now install keeps telling me that I gave a gift to unwrap whenever I reboot the 3ds,even when I have unwrapped them before.

Is there a solution to this problem ?

Also when I try and install bluecardfix.cia using BigBlueMenu it says this file is invalid ?

thanks

If I had an Ambassador 3DS that has a Nintendo Network ID attached, can I make "legit CIAs" from the GBA games, reset the system, then install the "legit CIAs" in order to effectively detach them from the NNID?

I suppose that this is a more generic question: are so-called "legit CIAs" tied to the system or to the NNID?

If you CAN install CIA files, you can install any files. So, yes, you can.

But I mean, if I used a hack to install such .cia files to SysNAND, then rebooted to unhacked SysNAND, would they still work? Also, would redownloading from eShop work?
