Gaming What is a fun RPG game with alot of unlockables

What is a fun RPG type like game with alot of unlockables and very fun to play that will not bore me..?

Dragon Quest 9 lasted me over 200 hours, and has LOTS of replay value. You should give it a try.

Have you checked out etrian odyssey 3? You have to kill monsters to get their parts to sell and unlock gear. The only thing I hate about the game is it's extra grindtastic

but it's not that big an issue to me.

Rune Factory 3 is a good one if you like a blend of harvest moon.

Do you like tactical games (strategy?), Final Fantasy Advance 2 is good, not to mention a long game (I've netted over 400 hours into it and still haven't beaten the story

Digimon Dawn/Dusk has a lot of customization in the way you have different monster combos you can fight with

Phantasy Star Zero is a good hack n' slash

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, most everything else I've been playing are rereleases and turn-based dungeon crawls (there are way to many of those on the DS lol)

Yep i have the rom but i haven't played it yet i'm gonan have to give that one a try , tnx thats one game anymore ..

I have the retail card of phantasy star zero it is a good game and beat it already, rune factory dont rlly like that, EO3 i will have to give that a try, digimon maybe because i have played it before

Yeah, but he's asking for a one with lots of unlockables, and unlockables aren't mentioned in that thread so he's got a perfectly fine reason to ask.

TWEWY - pins, clothes and if you liked storyline, there are sort of diary entries (revealing some mysteries in storyline)

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - lots of souls and weapons

Pokemon is a RPG, and I guess if you consider it, Pokemon Could Be Unlockables.
Play Heart Gold or SoulSilver. I personally really liked them.

Disgaea DS. The game already had plenty of unlockable content on the PS2, then they added about four more stages and characters to the main mode, and added a second game mode.

I agree. The 108 characters or whatever you can befriend are 'unlockables'. And the items, equipment, etc.

Definitely Suikoden.
And Disgaea, lots of unlockables there. The jobs alone take forever to unlock all of them.
