Just a few things to defend myself....

-Truth- Yes I borrowed from your guide, only the d2x part and I was to credit you with a link (I'm not an idiot)

-Joostinonline- Thanks for the support and helpful criticisms.

-Taleweaver- A brick is a brick indeed, sometimes you might brick your console, if you have bootmii installed on boot2, it's not a brick but if you don't it is, clearly it's not as clean cut as you describe.

-Pattonfiend67- Your avatar confuses people!

IOS is firmware that contains drivers.

Firmware is software...

All in all, in contains code needed to run something.

Got here after the explanation was gone, but I would have loved to have seen a fleshed out explanation of what Cios are. I already have a good idea of how they work, but I could easily be mistaken on the smaller points. Sorry you're catching so much flack for it.

A lot of the flack seems to originate from the explanation (presumably) not being written in such a way that is easily understood by all. PM me and I can help you on that point, if you'd like to try again.
