can you imagine a world where you had to pay to use the internet?
i am not talking about the isp\phone data plans you pay to connect to the internet
i am talking a world where every website had their payment wall before you access the information\services they provide

imagine, writing gbatemp.net on your browser and to create an account you had to make a payment
or every google search you had to pay 1 dollar
you could read and save a wikipedia page for 2 dollars, for contribute you had to monthly pay..
and so on...

Such a thing was proposed for email at one point as a means to cut down on spam.

Anyway the paid internet would have to be amazing, otherwise the free version would just be invented again.
