With all of the downloadable content rising in popularity there has to be some heavy DLC shoppers here so here's the question What has been your most expensive DLC purchase? Name the system (DSi, Xbox360, PS3, PSP), if it's for an existing game make sure you state the game name, and if it's a digitally distributed only game name the game oh and post the price.

My most expensive DLC purchase was 19,500 yen total ($198) worth of new outfits, songs, events and other things for Idolmaster SP for the PSP of course.

I caused epic fail to myself

I have an near unhealthy obsession with Idolmaster lolz not to the point it interferes with most of my daily life but I can waste gift money on DLC just for that game alone. It's addictive stuff like weed or meth, as for the creepiness factor I disagree with you.

The most I've spent is 100 Wii points on MegaMan9 downloadable content. I only downloaded it so my wii points would go to 0.

    DLC games or add-ons?

    Games
    Battlefield 1943 $15 (PS3)

    Add-ons
How ever much MS points 500 is. Did that 3 times for Rockband songs (X360)
    CoD4 map pack $10 (PS3 & X360)

Congratulations. You're part of the idiot demographic that MS/Sony/Publishers aim for to buy there stupid ass virtual items.

All of the above as long as they were purchased from the PSN, Xbox Live Marketplace, or through the Nintendo Store.

I've spent over $200 on the live marketplace within the past 2 years. The most expensive dlc I've bought was GTA IV: The Lost and Damned. Well worth it though.

Steam, I bought Orange Box the day it came out and the iD Megapack. I think they were about £30 each.

For a single addon its Lost and Damned at 1600 MS points.
For addons for a game, Burnout Paradise. I have bought a fair few of the addons for that but not all.

In total I have probably spent around £140 on XBLA, £60+ on Steam and £40 on Wii Store.

    Game - Wii - Zelda OOT / Mario 64 - 1000 points

Add-on - 160 MS points for Rock Band/GHWT DLC. I was planning to buy a track pack but I decided to buy single songs.

Coming soon - When that Queen track pack comes out next month, I will buy it in a heartbeat. 10 songs in all its goodness.

Most expensive single purchase is a tie - $15 each for Battlefield 1943 and Fat Princess on PSN. I play neither of them now, I wish I could return Battlefield. [IMG]

There should be a parallel thread for FAVORITE DLC purchase. Mine would be Pixeljunk Eden, I think it was $5. The music is amazing, the art is amazing... love it. Can't wait for Pixeljunk Shooter.

The most expensive thing I bought on PSN was the Marvel vs Capcom 2 game, but the most I've purchased in add-ons was the Killzone 2 Map Pack Bundle, for $12.99. Awesome deal.

So this includes anything on you've downloaded?

For me, probably the Eye of the North Guild Wars expansion pack for $30. Then after than, World of Goo on my Wii for $15.
