Recently a friend asked me if I wanted to share a nintendo online account with him to play smash (I have a physical copy of it) but I modded my console with atmosphere and instaled nsp games and I dont have a clean backup of my nand. So Im probably goning to be banned at some point. So my question is if I get banned does anything happen to the online subscription or my friend's account? I preffer to decline his offer If anything like that would happen. Thanks.

You wouldnt be able to use it at all on your console at the very minimum. Worse, nintendo might revoke the subscription due to violation of the TOS.

You lose it...just like with PS+ and Xbox Live Gold.....I had PlayStation Plus when my PSN account got banned. Sony basically just said "you screwed up, not our fault"

Yeah, you're gonna get him (or at least the account) banned too. Don't do it.

    1. not at some point, likely almost instantly.
    2. he might lose his online privileges with no money back, so please decline.

How about telling him about your situation and asking him if he wants to risk it?

Nah I'll probably try buying a 3 month subscription by myself in the near future and see how far I can play smash without a ban.
    Thanks for the responses everyone!

Don't do it. Keep your console ban-free until the modders eventually find a way to recreate you a clean NAND.

it depends on what level you were banned on. if your switch was only banned you can just sign in on another system but if you were "lv3 banned" its all gone

A banned console is an exiled console from Nintendo Services. All of them...
