Based on the games I like/have played, what games should I be getting?
    • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    • Alan Wake
    • Minecraft
    • SoulCalibur IV
    • Banjo-Kazooie
    • Banjo-Tooie
    • Portal
Note: This also contains titles that I've played on other systems and liked, and I can assume I'd still like them on the Xbox 360.

We're kind of low on games here. Or, at least games I like.

    Skyrim since you like Oblivion
Soul Calibur V comes out January 31st
Alan Wake's American Nightmare comes out this year Q1 IIRC

Minecraft 360 will also be released Spring of this year.

Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts? Not sure if you'll like it but never hurts to check out some videos of it to see if you'll like it.

If it's listed, then I already know it's on the 360. I only listed 360 games for a reason.

    Well excuse me princess.

    Catherine
    Dark Souls
    Fable Series

Is what I'm adding to the recommendations. Everything else either Joe, and Fudge listed off that I'd recommend.

Skyrim and the Orange Box, that'll keep you gaming for the next 7 months. Both are great games and definitely would compliment your current collection.

not sure about orange box length since after you beat the single player games theres not much else to do (and tf2 on 360/PS3 is a wreck compared to the pc)

Not to mention you paid for a free game if you get the Orange Box instead of just going to the XBLA and buying Portal standalone. In addition to already having Portal for the PC, that rules the Orange Box pretty much useless.

orange box was great when it launched, but a lot has changed since then.

i don't have much else to add to the list except for a few arcade titles.

    costume quest
    outland
    braid
    bastion

i should note, though, that all except outland are available on pc, and are therefore better purchased on pc. i own them on xbox just because i was a day one buyer for all of those.

You should definitely give Enslaved: Oddyssey to the West a shot. Like Alan Wake, it was another really great game that put a lot of emphasis on its story and characters; unfortunately, like Alan Wake, it didn't sell very well. The good thing, though, is that it's pretty cheap now. (If you get the game, make sure you also get the Pigsy's Perfect 10 DLC; manly tears were shed.)

And Mass Effect 1 and 2 (plus the assorted story based DLC); it goes without saying. Plus, if you get and play through them now, you'll be done just in time for Mass Effect 3.
