I was going to limit this to just the DS, which is why it's posted under the DS forum, but after typing out my top five, I realized two weren't for the DS!! So I guess it's open to any platform ... here's the 5 I'm playing right now:

#1 Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
#2 Final Fantasy III
#3 Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow
#4 Lost Magic
#5 Red Steel

Fallbacks
(For those times the other games aren't what you want to play)
#1 New Super Mario Bros.
#2 Mario Kart DS

Now that some great new games are out for the DS, and the Wii/PS3 just hit the market ... what're you playing now??

Magical Starsign
Tetris DS
Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2

I told myself I wouldn't get wrapped up in multiple RPGs at once, but it happened anyway.
I get to play Wii for the first time today.
I'm excited.

That's funny -- it's like the one classic DS game I haven't played yet! I guess I'll have to pick it up.

I can't seem to find any games that hold my interest for very long! Tetris is probably the only one I can actually get into.

1. Gears of War (360)
2. Mario & Luigi - Partners in Time (DS)
3. Yoshi's Island 2 (DS)
4. Dead or Alive 4 (360)
5. Final Fantasy III (DS)

Can't wait till Dec 8th. I'm only picking up ONE Wii game at launch (no prizes for guessing what that might be!). I'm gonna make a concerted effort to pack away my 360 and DS (the PSP's been in the closet for months now!). I'm just gonna enjoy as much of the goodness of Zelda as I can without interruptions. Which means I gotta finish off Gears and hopefully Partners in Time before Wii launches here...

Honestly I couldn't get into either of these games. I found the aiming in Metroid too difficult to do if I wasn't focused on gaming right then, and Elite Beat ... man ... I just found it dumb.

To be fair, I think your sig inspired me to ask this question!

w00t 4 meh! I agree with ya on MPH. Aiming is a little tough, plus hackers just murdered the online play so badly. I remember buying the game the first day it came out and I got a good month or two of solid online play before hackers started making me want to chuck the game out the window.

Scurge or whatever it's called (the gba version since the ds one is the same thing but not as good, sounds strange but true)

Breath of Fire

Armored Core 3

A stack of Dreamcast games I play all the time, mostly fighting games like capcom vs snk 2000

Zone of the Enders Second Runner

I'm in the middle of more games than that, but there is five.
