I don't know about you, but when I get stuck in a game for very long, I put it down and don't play it at all until I experience an epipheny. For me, right now, it's Hotel Dusk. I've gotten stuck somewhere and I haven't played it in over a month. And since I try not to use walkthroughs for help, it will just stay unplayed until I can figure out where I went wrong.

Is there a game you have abandoned because you couldn't clear a level or beat a certain boss? What game? What level was it on? How long since you last played it? Do you think you will ever finish it, or are you so pissed you don't care anymore???

I was on the last bit of Hotel Dusk when I did some wrong moves and got the game over sign. Haven't touched it since. >_>

That was just one among many...I lose interest in games quite quickly. (I hate making things rhyme too...)

Sure! Erm...as long as there's competition, I don't mind playing the game. XD This is probably why the only consistent games I play are EBA and Speed Racer. (And FFCC when I'm in the mood for that.)

Yeah, but I am thinking about starting back up with Hotel Dusk again. Sometimes, after a take I break from a game and clear my head, I can figure out what I was missing.

I do this with almost every single game I have. I could probably count the games I've finished on 2 hands!

    Links Awakening.

Somehow the game let me keep both the shovel AND the boomerang, making it impossible for me to buy magic powder to kill the first nightmare.

That would seriously piss me off too, Urza. It's like a glitch in the game itself.

And, Fission, it took me a while to beat the Lizard on Gorongo Island as well! It was incredibly frustrating.

FFCC ROF because i don't know where to go or i don't understand why i can't pass that level. That was pissing me off eventually looked to walkthroughs and used cheats but nothing. Eventually stopped and played Soma Bringer because of frustration.

I'm like you. Hotel Dusk for me as well.

I tend to lost interest in games after a while, never finishing them. I got my DS last August and finally finished COMPLETELY was Princess Peach - couple of weeks ago. Pathetic.

Sometimes you have to give up and cool off. In my time I've smashed a few GBA's and 1 DS. [IMG]
I try to prevent that from happening again.

First game that really got me into a rage was Solomon's Key for NES - Pure Frustration. [IMG]

That reminds me of my aunt. She'd spend weeks just trying to get the 1 candy bar she can't reach in Commander Keen.

Back in 2007, I was playing Phoenix Wright, but case 5 didn't want to end, so I left it.

Quite some time later (after apollo justice release in USA) a friend of mine got obsessed with it and made me play it again.

In 3 months, I had completed all Phoenix Wright games, including Apollo Justice.
