Needless to say, Nintendo has some pretty heavy duty anti-piracy plans in place for the Nintendo 3DS. And, unsurprisingly, pirates are already on the move to learn more about said security so they can break through it.
What are they?

1 http://www.1up.com/news/3ds-prevent-piracy...omatic-firmware - unconfirmed rumour, also illegal in many countries.
2 Never mentioned anywhere.
3 Somewhat of a given, but only a rumour so far.

im thinking the r4 will crack the 3ds first
then they will rename the r4ds to r3ds
The R4 team disbanded.
Unless, you think one of those clone manufacturers are going to crack it.

Well, for the spotpass or streetpass thingy, I can still play because there is probably NOBODY who owns a NDS in India, let alone the 3DS...

Flashcart, well, will take a looong time (like 1 year) to sell in my country.

I MUST NOT TELL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THE 3DS!!

Then, no flashcart

I'm pretty sure the Acekard team cracked the DSi first, not the Supercard team.

I think it'll be the Supercard team for the 3DS, though.

pretty sure neither have even cracked them.

they got carts to run in ds mode, not dsi mode.

I believe the SC2 will be able to run homebrew on the 3DS. Personally i will stick with that till they find a better way to emulate the snes FX chipsor have a bigger variety emulators

. I mostly play retro system emus anyway and i do buy the games that i really like. I like owning the real thing.
