So I saw this intriguing video with a very clickbaity title recently.
It says at 4:45 that when you use the "Link HHD Data" feature in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, it checks the SD card for Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer save data, but doesn't go into further detail.
I suppose these days anyone who cares about this sort of thing will just edit their Animal Crossing save data to enable the bonus items, but is there a way to do this without hacking? Is simply creating a folder named Nintendo 3DS/[ID0]/[ID1]/title/00040000/0014F100/data/ enough to satisfy the check for the US version? Has someone looked into this? I tried doing a search and did not find anything.
