Gaming What exactly do you have to do to become the "ambassador" ?

I'm a little confused as to what exactly do I have to do in order to receive these free games for early adopters...

Is it enough if I just click the eShop icon and wait for it to load ? And maybe download some free videos/games ? I got Pokedex, but I haven't downloaded any paid content yet.

Or do I actually have to register somewhere with personal details, enter my VISA card number or something ?

just login to eshop and thats it.
no need to download stuff.

Load up the eshop, go to the news section, if it says anything about it, you;re in.

The problem is there is no way to confirm if you're an ambassador or not (AFAIK), even when following the instructions. So yeah, a giant flashing star would be one solution.

What if I logged in to the eShop BEFORE they announced the Ambassador program? Do I have to log in again, now? (I ask, because I am in Afghanistan with my 3DS and probably WON'T be able to log in again before time is up.)

A lot of people also don't receive the notification either. I haven't, but I checked the News section in the eShop and I saw had the ambassador post. Some people wouldn't have thought it would be in the news.

Yes there is a way to confirm, you log in to the Eshop, THAT'S IT, no magic needed, Load it, while on the internet, and YOU'RE A MEMBER.
As long as your system ID was connected to the servers pre price drop, you're set.

It's annoying seeing 20 of these threads every day.

Nintendo should set a email (if you have a linked Nintendo Club account to your 3ds)
to the linked email(for the Nintendo Club account) for confirming that your ambassador

If you log in in the eshop and go to the news section you'll find your "welcome to the embassador" post.

The only way to really know is to go to the eShop RIGHT NOW and check the "News" button. (Scroll left from the home page)

I also didn't have them enabled when the messages were first sent out. I'm not sure Ninty is going to do a second round of informing. This doens't mean you're not in the program however.
