What ever happened to Skins for GBA emulators?

I can't speak for every one else but I loved being able to make themes for VGBA (Visualboy Advance) and was wondering why that feature hasn't been carried over in either VGBA-M or MGBA? I like being able to make the emulator my own, you know :D

I'm not saying its a required feature, just that it would be nice for those of us who like to express our creative sides you know :P

P.S. Does any one have the tools to make skins for Visualboy Advance guys, all the links I find are dead, can some on upload them to File Trip :D I need the region tool and the skin tool :)
