I think he means "basic" as in "basic", not "basic" as in "sounds simple in theory but I have no clue how difficult this would be in actuality." Your suggestion requires him to use wifi properly, stream data properly, and figure out how to output the dynamic content to the DS's audio engine properly, none of which is "basic" stuff.

To the original poster: try recreating some classic games to get a better grasp of programming. Things like Pong, Tic-tac-toe, Connect 4, Battleship, Tetris (in order of increasing difficulty). If you want to tackle something more difficult, I believe the DS is still severely lacking a decent standalone text editor. The ones in DSLinux work for me, but they get confused with Windows line endings and word-wrapping.

Basic: Remake asteroids with Geometry Wars style controls.
    -
Advanced: Make a port of Kloonigames indie 7 day title, Pluto Strikes Back
    -
Kick-In-The-Balls-Hard: Make a new SNES emu that specifically targets SNES games with special chips in them.

hay this is the wrong post but about a internet browser I just thought of a great idea! What it does is it goes on a website that gives it images of the websites and then renders link kind of like that one that uses the computer to render images but using the internet insted

    Would this work?
