Hacking What ds flashcards work on new 2ds xl ?

I have to say that r4isdhc is perfect if you want a cart for ntrboot only porpuses, like flashing gm9 with a custom vram.img

Wasn't there an issue with the flah chips beeing too large for the ds mdoe flasher or something?

That's a completely different card. I don't think it's ntrboot compatible.

a completely different card from what ? I first asked for a card to play ds games only,not to use it for ntrboot.

If you just want to play ds games on a 3ds

1) r4i Gold r4ids.cn website on cart sticker. best cart overall for that, if you can afford it
2) ace3ds+ (cheaper, decent firmware)
3) r4isdhc.com.cn cart (NOT one without the .CN! this is same as ace3ds+)


If you also want to hax.

1) r4i gold 3ds Plus of you are willing to crack the shell open
2) ak2i (will work on your hacked 3ds after hacking for DS games)
3) r4i gold if you want to flash.
4) ace3ds X If you are not willing to flash OR open the case.

r4i-sdhc.com and r4isdhc.com carts both have timebomb, do not buy unless you just want to hax with one, then buy the cheapest you can find

if you insist on a clean system then its your only choice . . . but ntrboot makes the cost of the sky3ds too . . . too redundantly high

Through previous experience,I'd highly suggest against 3ds roms.Cias give you more freedom since you can install virtual console ones,and the 3ds games will also include updates and dlcs (though they really need a lot of time to install,depending on size)

Yep, but I know nothing about it and just want to choose a gift for my nephew.

updates are fine with .3ds as well. they download from the internet just like for retail carts.

that said hacking+configured freeshop is VERY handy for kids.
