What does the status pending mean?

I just ordered a item on dealextreme its status is pending.... what does pending mean?

It means Awaiting decision, or about to happen.

It just means they have to verify the order then ship it basically.

Yes this is before 'Processing'.

I wish people would just give straight answers (yes, I can take a joke too).

But for things like this (where cash is involved), be fair and just give a direct answer.

Was the item in stock? If so the 'Pending' may change tomorrow (depending on how quick they accept new orders).

If the item is unavailable - 'Pending' could remain until stock is available (usually they don't take money until 'Processing').

Usually it's Pending -> Processing -> Packing -> Shipped.

Also depends on the store.

It says underneath QUOTE

Ships on 5/16/2009 (3 days)

which is an indication that they have them in stock, or get them in on an order by order basis.

I wouldn't worry.
