What does GliGli know?

If you listed areas of knowledge or DIY projects (going further: blogs, activities, degrees (classes), textbooks, languages) which would allow you understand GliGli's "white paper" on his reset glitch hack what would they be?

I've aspired to be a reverse engineer since I was very young. New hacks like GliGli's latest just fuel my fire.
If you haven't read the 360 (all of em) have been hacked wide open on a hardware level.

I haven't seen his paper, but as far as higher education, this would fall into the realm of computer engineering (microchip design) and electrical engineering (signal analysis)... two closely related fields. But most of all it requires an extraordinary mind. You are disassembling something put together by thousands of people (with degrees in the aforementioned fields) who are doing their best (sometimes) to stop you.
