Gaming what do you use to scroll long pages?

i've found that i often need to browse loooooooong pages, mostly on firefox (news articles, reddit, imageboards etc.) but sometimes docs and pdfs too.

wondering if anyone else has been able to come up with a more comfortable solution.

Scrolling on my Mighty Mouse is set to the fastest so it doesn't take many flicks to get to the bottom.

If I'm lazy I'll just click the area on the scrollbar where I want to read.

i use spacebar but not firefox. 2 finger scroll and sometimes scroll wheel.

Usually I use my mouse wheel. If it's uber long, I'll hold on to the page down key.

The spacebar is the one i use.

I say "auto scroll" but my mouse is an mx rev, spin the wheel enough it unlocks and goes into hyper scroll

I use a Logitech G9 (and previously a Logitech VX Revolution) which both have the "hyper" or "smooth" scroll feature, so I just set it to that mode for browsing and scroll away when I'm on long pages. Occasionally, I will use Mouse button 3 for autoscroll though.

I usually use my scroll ball, but switch to my trackpad for long scrolling.

I'm using the old good scrollbar, quicker to reach the desire point.

I didn't know about the space bar on firefox, nice one

shift+Space to go up too
