What do you think of my WiiGun?

Okay, now I'd really like your input on a one-handed gun. Can you guys think of anything that would improve this design? Keep in mind I'm aiming for a one-handed gun that would work equally well for 3rd person shooters, 1st person shooters, and on-rails shooters. I'd really like to get a finalized design so I can email it to 3rd party hardware developers. I know it's a long shot to actually get it made, but I feel it would be a nice addition to the Wii Peripheral camp.

So, please, on with the suggestions!

no offence but you own a wiimote. and have stuff lying around the house. why not try make one yourself. its alot better that way and it would be awesome to show off. the chances of a third party taking up a design is slim

I won't be getting the official Nintendo Wii zapper for sure. Putting the trigger on your non-trigger hand is just plain stupid.

Lol the problem is it would require sophisticated wiring to connect the Wii Remote to the Gun casing. Since I want to put in new buttons, an analog stick and a gyro/accelerometer, I can't just make a plastic housing with a trigger for the B button. Otherwise, I totally would!

Wat do you mean?? The thing is ambidextrous......meaning you can use watever hand you want

I think you meant putting the trigger at the front of the gun instead of at the back. Either way is cool to me

im sure nintendos official one is just a shell, and the wiring aint that sophisticated. all your doing is rewiring the wiimotes buttons to your buttons

Am I the only one who prefer MOUSE over ALL OTHER available controls for shooters?

Not at all, qft. Thats the reason I even bothered to buy a wii is because it offered a mouse/wasd-like control scheme from the couch.
