Definitely also buy some flux. Even a magnifying glass helps. Something like this:

If you can afford it get a Pinecil. It uses a usb-c connection for power, you'll need about a 45watt usb charger or battery. It heats up super quick at around 10 seconds, small and easy to hold. Has a built in cpu and its set up to auto-shut off if dropped or not in use. It's been great to have.

Yea you don't have to have a magnifying glass, it just helps.

This is a good guide as to what soldering equipment you need for doing mods like this. I recommend going with a Quicko T12 soldering iron as it has lasted me for a long while.
