3DS is smaller than Switch.
3DS has 3D.
3DS is 2 screens.
3DS actually lasts longer than Switch.
3DS has more games.
3DS has cameras, 3D cameras.
3DS has street pass, (whatever) you get free stuff when you go past someone else with a 3DS and a shop with the street pass server running (EB Games)
3DS has Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid, Metro Prime....
3DS has lots of original games, Switch has those same games but "re-released" for Switch with 1 extra skin you will never use.
3DS is cheaper.
3DS has BC that works great.
3DS is just better.
PS Vita kicks ass on all of them, but $ony are too stupid to do anything with their awesome hardware so they killed it off instead.

If you don't want to send them in for the free fix (or can't), the recent reports of a fix that seems to fix them pretty well looks fairly easy to do.
2 things.
1st, the limited edition Zelda joy-cons have the fix built in. They actually fixed them but didn't tell anyone.
2nd. The fix is really easy. I did it on an extremely bad drift joy-con and now its got 0 drift. Took about 10 mins the first time.
The 2nd joy-con took about 5 mins as the left and right are different designs but was also really easy to fix.
Just unscrew it, put in a piece of card and screw it back up. Very simple, very quick, works very well.
It was a joy-con from my original console about 4 years old. Its all worn out, the drift was so bad I had to buy new joy-cons. The batteries were flat as they've been boxed for about 2 years. but now they live again. The 2nd set has drift on the right stick. When I can be bothered I'll fix that but enjoying my zelda ones atm so no hurry.
I dont like the neon colors, the greys are extremely hard to find so to bring life back into a set of grey ones its awesome.
Might have to get a few from feebay and fix them and resell them.
