What do you like in web graphics?

Post whether you like Glossiness, ultra brushed images, colourised pics, sharp text. flashy backgrounds, ore any other web graphics styles.

I personally like the glossy look the most, then mabye some brushed vector pics

If it's not with magenta text and black background, I don't like it.

Animated gifs with white backgrounds are a plus.

My likes: I often browse without images so I like sites that can do without them.
Flash: keep it for games or applications, other than that you can keep it.

As for actual artistic merit: I was around prior to broadband achieving widespread penetration, I would rather not be reminded of this so no clipart or flowery borders.
