    Tissues
    Deodorant

Antibacterial wipes - good for cleaning greasy hands after eating and wiping public toilet seats
    Food (normally bread and sardines)
    Water bottle
    Sunglasses

Backup battery and a charger, and my wallet. Kleenex maybe if it's springtime. I don't tend to carry a purse or bag with me much, so I just bring what I need in my pockets for the given situation, usually.

Seriously ? Breath mints ? Load of sugars in it.. Not good for the teeth. Dont trust the label said sugar free. Still not good anyway.

By the way, I always brush my teeth and clean my tongue really really good. No bad breath for about 8 hours. Clean tongue is a key.

Antibacterial wipes (Don't believe it. The chemical is in it that I don't trusted. Not safe. I wash my hands every time I am in the mall or anywhere.

deodorant ? Be careful. Unsafe chemical in it as well.

Anything else are good. Oh my gosh. sardine, my favourite. :) Nice.

I second that. Doing that here in Scotland would lead you to being called a posh twat and you being punched repeatedly.

We do have a couple of older versions of this thread, the concept typically being called everyday carry/EDC if you go looking elsewhere.
    https://gbatemp.net/threads/gbatemps-everyday-carry-grab-bag.347034/
    https://gbatemp.net/threads/post-your-toolbox.390841/

Anyway since then I have stopped with the rucksack and normally go with messenger bag type thing (I have a few). These days canvas based where I can -- if I look like I should otherwise be in a pith helmet then I am doing it right.

I also returned from holiday recently which means fairly minimal these days -- I found that if I am not doing a rucksack then the couple of kilos of spanners on a strap across your body really gets annoying to keep carting around after kilometre 20 or mile 12 or so if out and about (I removed them following an incident with airport security and found out how much difference it made), and I also lost my electronics/computer fundamentals pouch (fuses, USB leads, SD card reader...).

Keys, folding razor blade knife, wallet, couple of compasses (as in tell you what direction you are facing), small screwdriver keyring, small knife, multitool which replaced my pliers, other knife if in the country (they get a bit touchy in towns nowadays if you carry a locking 3 inch blade), UV torch, hairbands, torch, pencil and notepad, gaffer tape, hot pink hockey tape, electrical tape, scarf/shemagh (mostly used to cover books I get and don't want damaged), another bag for when I find something I want to carry back, dog bags, tape measures, fold out ruler/protractor, permanent marker, set of nitrile gloves, thumb screwdriver + bits, elastic, small spirit level, bit of hand sanitiser, loupe, magnifying glass, little suction ball as I am too cheap to buy canned air until I need it these days.

I might leave the bag behind at times and that leaves me down to everything from hairbands on backwards. In general I have no phone, no active electronics, nothing to make me look pretty, no food and no drink unless the dog needs one. I would have some lockpicks as well but I don't know that I could talk my way out of it here and would rather not have a going equipped charge (do still have a hair pin/bobby pin in my wallet).

I usually have a good idea of what I will be doing if I am not just wandering around for my amusement. To that end if I need tools I will grab things as necessary and possibly end up loaded down a lot, and have a lot of tools set up in "grab and go" bags these days. Similarly if I am going around on a pushbike or skateboard instead then something to sort basics there.

You are an American. I can understand that.
Seriously ? Never seen like that before. Being punched repeatedly should be thrown in the water and just drown. What a heartless and sicko. Sadly. Sometimes I wish Earth would just destroyed most humanity and be done. Most humanity is the corrupt! Wow.

I don't care about a bit of sugar in a breathmint, I only have one or two a day. While I don't like the chemicals in personal hygiene products I don't think they're that bad either and unless you live in the middle of nowhere you can't avoid them. When you're using your hands to eat sardines with olive oil on bread you need more than just water to get the grease off.
I tend to eat away from others. At a park away from everyone else or sitting at a table on my own if I'm in a shopping center.

I understand that. Use the plastic fork. :P

By the way, that bottle you are using isn't safe. I think I read it somewhere. It is not good for your hands skin. Just saying. Anyway, its so good. I enjoyed it myself all the time since I was kid and still today. :)
