i'm doing a paper.
i know most of activities that are done on the net:

email
forums
groups
chat
blogging
surfing (merely looking for interesting site)
online banking/payments (eBay, Paypal. and online banks)
MMOG

but i don't know other activities that might not be so known yet still significant in terms of users doing it.

Are you an information scientist? This sounds like something an information scientist (or a student of information science) would do. I have books and hundreds of lectures notes on this stuff. I've got 2 modules of it next year >.>

Theres a lot of things you can do online. Video chatting, internet telephoning, scams, fraud, books, homework. I'm not quite sure what you are trying to achieve with this study though.
