    after its installed you can use the command prompt or the programmers notepad, if your just getting into complying maybe go to the devkit website and do some reading up

    Open programmers notepad. Open makefile. Go to tools-> make.
    Have fun!

    OK so I opened the makefile in Programmers Notepad Two and went to the option "make" in the tools drop box. That did not work.
    Code:
    > "make"
    make[1]: *** No rule to make target `Thumbs.db.o', needed by `/c/devkitPro/libogc/libogc.elf'.ÂÂStop.
    "make": *** [build] Error 2

    > Process Exit Code: 2
    > Time Taken: 00:01
    I put the sources in C:/devkitpro/libogc/makefile
    Is that the correct place to put it?

    What are you compiling? Does it need extra libaries? Try extracting the source to C:\%appname% and open the makefile from there.

    It gave me this in the output box "PN2"
    Code:
    > "make"
    Makefile:13: /opt/devkitPPC/wii_rules: No such file or directory
    "make": *** No rule to make target `/opt/devkitPPC/wii_rules'.ÂÂStop.

    open the makefile

    and delete these two lines

    DEVKITPRO = /opt/devkitPPC
    DEVKITPPC = /opt/devkitPPC

    and try complying it again, if that doesn't work try deleting the build folder from your source and try again, these are the first two small problems i can think of.
    edit and yes if that doesn't work you might be missing something.
