I would, but I'm not in a position where I can buy one. (Considering that I only have 20 dollars at the moment and was going to buy Jak 2.)

I'm sorry I'm kidna lost are you talking about the emulator or the real PS2 because if it is the emulator you can get the bios online.

I already have a PS2. I was talking about a FMCB memory card.

I know that I can get the bios online, but it isn't legal. I'm trying to do this the most legal way possible. (Which would be ripping the bios from a PS2 that I own.)

Also, the reason why I haven't ripped the bios yet is because i'm waiting on an IDE to USB adapter to arrive.

But to my knowledge you need like an action replay or code breakers or something to even put files on the memory card. Back in 2009 I had bought a PS2 with HD loader disk and that's how I was able to do it... to be very real with you just buy the Free mcboot it is only $10 instead of buying Jack 2 just buy that... I wouldn't necessary feel bad about legality because the PS2 is like almost 20 years old... nobody cares if you rip those games.

Sorry if I'm trying to push you to do schechy things it just makes life easier to buy the memory card vs buying extra equipment and putting more time and effort into something that is automated.

I don't think you even have to rip them. According to what I know they aren't encrypted like games today, so you can read them with a regular rom drive.

Also, I don't see any harm in buying the memory card, I just don't want to download the bios.

If you are talking about gameshark or code breakers you need the real disk for it to activate the white screen to enable you to put the freemcboot on it but below you can look at the prerequisites on what you would need.
