Gaming What do I need to get xbox live?

I need to know what I need to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. I have the first console model and wireless internet throughout the house. I know that I need membership as well, but what else do I need to get connected?

That's about as cheap as a wireless adapter costs, unless you have the S model, which has built-in wireless.

If your looking for a cheap alternative and don't mind dealing with a lot of computer jargon and hooditties you can look into DD-WRT. All you need to do is find a cheap router that's supported and follow some instructions and set up a wireless bridge, then your pretty much set to go.
