Ok so I just backed up my wii and got these 2 files but what do I do with them after my wii is backed up?
I heard you gotta do something to the keys.bin and nand.bin file after you put them on your desktop.

You just save them on the computer (or anywhere you want). You don't have to do anything to them as far as I can remember. The nand.bin file is your NAND backup, and the keys.bin file are your console keys. Should something go wrong with your Wii, like a brick, you can restore your previous NAND backup, assuming that you have BootMii installed as boot2. If you only have it as IOS, it is a little more complicated, but even then, the files aren't useless.
