I finished Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure at normal difficulty. The PSP version on the PS3. The game is super cute, but not easy and the ending is unsatisfying.

I didn't find all the items and didn't complete the bonus boss fight (black bean, very difficult). But that apparently doesn't matter, I got the good ending where the girl was waved goodbye.

However, the game does end in a very unsatisfying way. After defeating the final boss you can no longer save the game and you have to talk to Motoro after which a cutscene and the credits follow.

Then you can make a blank save file. It tells you that certain stuff will go with the new save, you get an extra outfit and can play on "hard mode". Then you return to the title screen. And that's it...

You can't go back to the levels to do what you haven't completed yet. You can't see anywhere how much % you had completed. Because I didn't overwrote the existing save, I could go back to the situation before the final boss, but nothing more.

In the blank save the coins and junk are still there, but unexchanged gold medals and bought equipment are lost. And the extra outfit is just a... pyjama...

I started a new game on "easy", hoping that one day I can find the platinum medals in an easier way (in the first play I had chosen "give up" when grandpa asked me to find the medal, apparently resulting in you can't get the remaining 10 anymore too). And maybe I'll be able to collect 65.xxx coins and buy the "maid outfit" towards the end of the game. With that you could work in the Fan Cute Cakes shop to can get a photo. I'm still missing 4 or 5. Completing "easy" should also unlock a "monkey outfit".

There is also "hard", "happy" and "crazy" difficulties, where you have to finish the previous one before a higher level is unlocked. I doubt I can ever finish "hard" at all.

Just cleared DKCR 9-9 (Golden Temple) on 3DS. I was informed after completing it that I can now play any level in mirror mode with no Diddy and one less heart piece. It's nice they make that possible, but no thank you lol.

I've cleared all levels now with all KONG letters and all puzzle pieces. Only 8-B Tiki-Tong Terror remains (final boss). Wait that's not right ... I beat 8-B already, it just never shows as "beaten" in typical Nintendo fashion. If I hadn't beaten the game and all the "K" levels, I never would've gotten into world 9 in the first place.

Well, that was sure anti-climactic lol.

I haven't gamed in about half a year due to moving and fsmily emergencies taking up my time so everyone game harder for me!
So you're a newcomer with exactly 2 posts on gbatemp, including this one, and you're already posting off-topic crap that doesn't contribute to the thread. Good job.

But to at least contribute to the topic on my end: I was away for the 4 day weekend and only accomplished stuff on Pokemon Go. I live in Japan, so don't judge. It's still popular as hell here, and a great way to meet people. I completed all of the weekend collection tasks on 2 accounts, got a shiny Zamazenta on each account, and a hundo dynamax charmander on 1 account (evolved that sucker, of course).

Also advanced to Level 46 on my main. Might seem like rookie numbers to some of you, but I've spent no less than half of each year out to sea, since this game was released. And I've been married and working full time since then. So I think reaching 46 is pretty respectable.

Not today, but finished (dot)hack//Infection (part 1) on real hardware last week + the post-game dungeon, and started up Mutation (part 2) for the first time in well over a decade. Also managed to get a rare weapon near the endgame which has been carrying me so far in the opening hours.

Getting the data transferred was a bit tricky (using a MemCard PRO 2, and it kept making a new VMC every time I started Mutation ) but hoping to beat the rest of the series in due time.

Aimless wandering around Hyrule (Hyrylä?) kinda started to pay off. My second temple in TOTK - Water. Fully kitted out Purah pad with only leaving the laboratory for the mandatory shrine task. White stallion and fully mapped overworld.

Way to spend the independence day I guess :toot:

Beating Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem for the 3rd time.
An underratted FPS masterpiece.
It has seasons and characters that can be earned only during those seasons.
New GM+ is so good.
