I've played that game so many times and it's still fun to complete it. :)

Surprised Nintendo never gave it a HD Remaster.

Finished TLoU: Part 1 on PS4 Pro, this game really is a masterpiece and having seen the HBO series first I can say I vastly prefer the game's cast and story than HBO's version.

I'll still watch HBO's TLoU for one reason... Pedro Pascal. :P

And I'll play TLoU: Part 2. Season 2 of HBO's TLoU is only scheduled for 2025 so plenty of time.

Give it time, they'll get to it.

And, I agree, it's a very enjoyable game. I 100%'d it once before on my regular-sized (non XL) New3DS years ago. Last year I got a nomal 3DSXL (not the "New" model, unfortunately) that had some issues. Fixed it up and it's my workhorse now, and a good excuse to replay some favorites.

I haven't been gaming much lately, but I just wanted to put for the record that I'm very proud that, overall, gaming is what actually helped me learn English, from way back when I was a kid until today. Helped out so much until today.

I beat Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! today. Beat Gradius yesterday. I thought Punch Out would take me a month or two of practice (this was the third day). I have played it before though but mainly the European version and I've been utterly terrible against Tyson, this was NTSC-J, same with Gradius. Maybe Ghost's n Goblins or Battletoads is next, but I don't have them and my flashcart is broken, but in due time I guess.

Edit: Just won on TKO, first time was on points, all of a sudden he's not that tough while I used to get crushed for years, to the point where it didn't feel like it was any use trying. I did land my star punches this time and seems random when he can counter them. Now I don't have any really fun games left in my Famicom collection to try and beat, Hello Kitty World or Bomber King might be next.

I was just playing TLoU Part 2 for an hour, but good God that bored the heck out of me. Not sure I'll actually finish Part 2. I almost fell asleep.

I did love Part 1 and that I'd say it's a masterpiece.

This is by far the most frustrating gaming day I've ever had. Dark Souls has me completely stumped, I've been stuck in the same spot countless times. It's like the game is cursed.

Continued tweaking my personalised version of Pokémon Compass (a SV mod - I don't take credit for the base mod, hell no, just my personal touches on top of that), and continued my adventure too; beat the 6th Gym today, as well, and almost ready for the 7th.

Finished The Last of Us I ...
On which platform was it? If on PS3, they pushed the game as much as possible, but the framerate was sacrificed.

I played it on PS4 Pro at 60fps and loved it. I'm now trying to go through Part 2 except it feels like a chore.

Started playing Zelda TotK on a Switch I bought and the game feels just like BotW! :) I guess they didn't want to number it "Breath of the Wild 2" so went with a different title.

The Switch just to play its games is fine, but I won't bother using the eShop. It's too sluggish.

Played a Dreamcast game for the first time today, but using an emulator (Flycast), not original hardware.

The game was Shadow Gangs, the Dreamcast version which was released in 2022. A game in the style of Shinobi (1987) and Shadow Dancer (1989).

Yeah it’s incredibly similar. How do you find it compared to BotW? I can’t decide which I prefer. Sometimes the construction stuff feels too forced in.

I finished it on PC. I honestly didnt know there were difference between platforms other than performance tho...

Almost done with R&C1, actually; started that game not too long ago, on PCSX2, as I could circumvent one of my biggest issues with the game (the extremely limited nanotech/health) with a cheat code. So yeah, I've only got Veldin left to go through before I'm done with the game! I am planning on finishing it tomorrow.

As for Pokémon, I defeated the last two Team Star bosses and the 7th Gym; now for Grusha, followed by the Pokémon League!

I've been going through Uncharted 4 and really enjoying it a lot! "A Thief's End" so pretty sure there won't be an Uncharted 5 and probably better off that way.

After U4, I'll play Killzone which I've always wanted to try despite the reviews not being too positive.

TLoU Part 2? I gave up. Just wasn't having fun.

My spouse saw me finishing this one, and wanted there to be a future game starring the character from the end of U4 (not Crash...)
I wish they'd remaster the Vita Uncharted game, just get rid of the gimmicky controls and make it playable with a traditional controller. That's it.

The Crash Bandicoot game included was a pretty cool surprise and was this developed by Naughty Dog? Who knew we'd see Crash again by ND.

I only have like 5 chapters left and U4 is complete. It really is worth playing it. :)
