What color is this dress? Or better yet what color do you see the dress as?
My sister just showed me this 10 minutes ago! It appeared blue and black, but now I am on GBAtemp, it's gold and white. She said that it depends on your mood.
gold and white
Blue and Black
poop-like color to me :3
what's the deal with the dress?
It's blue with what appears to be about a month's worth of shit stains from someone using it as toilet paper.
Light brown and white.
I see blue and black, my sister sees white and gold/poop.
Goldish (0x7E6D42) and a very unsaturated/pale light blue (0x8796C1).
It actually looks so unsaturated that it looks like it is very worn out (decolored).
** Could also be shitty lighting.
Lavender and burnt daffodil
Very specific and refined color names, are you a graphic designer?
No, I work for a crazy woman. She uses terms like these.
You're not too far off. I don't know what burnt daffodil looks like but I'm assuming it's the top half of what I grabbed with the eye dropper tool in MS Paint to put this shit to rest.
About to get off of Facebook because of this, don't make me get off of GBAtemp too
Edit - I'm also colorblind. That said, looks like brown/purple to me based off of the colors I pulled from the image in question. Someone found the dress on a web shop, it's clearly blue/black and listed as such.
Blue like the "internets" link in Sicklyboy's sig (well, a bit lighter) and a slightly off-black
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Roman-Womens-Detail-Bodycon-Dress/dp/B00SJEUCWU the actual dress is blue/black
though i still see blue and gold in the pic in the op.
Who else has seen it in both colors?
its an exposure issue guys
download the pic and turn the brightness down and look at it for a few minutes then look at the regular pic again
...it's insane how the color changes depending of how/when you see it.. I saw it as white/gold, and now I can see it as blue/darkish ...to me, the bg of the pic also helped to see it in different colors.
Here is the original uploader of the dress image when using the thing:
I think it has more to do with our monitors than with our eyes
