Hacking What can I do to further set up my 3DSXL+GW?

I just got a new 3DS XL and a GW to play with till the N3DS comes out.

I have it running roms will the multi rom tool, and I have emunand with 9.4 on it.

Is there anyway to get region free working on this?

Can I also run DS flashcards on this machine too?

I am considering downgrading but haven't yet, will doing so give me any of these features?

Also, side question, when I launch a game in sysnand, then launch it again in emunand, are they two different are there two different saves or do they both link to the same one?

Region free should be working automatically, you don't need to do anything.

2. Yes. R4 RTS I know works. Some others do as well, some don't.
3. no.
4. Roms or retail carts? You can't launch a rom in sysnand. Retail cart is retail cart. Launch in classic mode, an existing save on cart will not be compatible with GW most likely.

Alright cool, I ask because when I first set up my card before setting up emunand, I was able to play roms, now I realize that now that I've set up emunand, I will always be launching emunand when launching gateway?

This bluecard, whats this for, is this essentially another R4/DS flashcart? Do I need to downgrade to 4.5 to use it?

Also are saves stored on the big sd card in the bottom or the microsd in the gateway?
