I only use verbatims too but they're kinda expensive here. Isn't there a cheaper substitute?

Get them on ebay. If you order 2 spindles of 20 discs then you can get them for ~1.50USD after S&H.

I highly recommend NOT using another brand.

Also another big factor in burning is the burner itself which I would recommend getting a Pioneer drive for so you don't waste any expensive media with bad burns.

I always used to use the Verbatims (the cheapest place I found to buy them was Sam's club - you can typically get a 50 spindle for about $60USD). Anyway, for kicks, I decided to order a 50 spindle of the Amazon.com for $33 and so far they haven't been too bad. I've had two bad burns out of about 15 discs, but since they're half the price, I'm fine with that. I haven't had any problems with the discs that completed burns, either.

I've had no problems burning 360 games on my laptop using a Matshita burner which are possibly the worst drives out there, so I should think that either of your drives should do just fine.

Thanks for the Reply, and yes i think my drives should do well if you used a Matshita burner and had no problems with your burning

Sorry I forgot to mention before that you want Verbatims made in Singapore. The ones made in India use a different dye and the quality is questionable on them...
