Questions in the title lol
Verbatim DVD+R DL.
This. And ONLY this.
I only use verbatims too but they're kinda expensive here. Isn't there a cheaper substitute?
i have heard that these are the best for burning 360 games but i cant find any of em in my local stores unfortunately. any others recommended?
Get them on ebay. If you order 2 spindles of 20 discs then you can get them for ~1.50USD after S&H.
I highly recommend NOT using another brand.
Also another big factor in burning is the burner itself which I would recommend getting a Pioneer drive for so you don't waste any expensive media with bad burns.
I don't know about ebay but I found some newegg and they don't seem that expensive considering how much your saving by pirating http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?...0-040-_-Product .
Philips are just as good as Verbatim
i have a LG Drive on my desktop, is LG a trustable brand for Drives?
EDIT: Also have a Hitachi Drive on my Laptop
would Sony brand be good? I Say sony because i have a good experience with there CD-R's (Have a 50pack of em out of 25 i used i got 0 coasters)
i must disagree i too have verbatims but i have used memorex dual layers from walmart and i have not had a problem and i have been using them for a year now but by all means verbatim is the best but memorex works just as good.
I always used to use the Verbatims (the cheapest place I found to buy them was Sam's club - you can typically get a 50 spindle for about $60USD). Anyway, for kicks, I decided to order a 50 spindle of the Amazon.com for $33 and so far they haven't been too bad. I've had two bad burns out of about 15 discs, but since they're half the price, I'm fine with that. I haven't had any problems with the discs that completed burns, either.
I've had no problems burning 360 games on my laptop using a Matshita burner which are possibly the worst drives out there, so I should think that either of your drives should do just fine.
Thanks for the Reply, and yes i think my drives should do well if you used a Matshita burner and had no problems with your burning
Sorry I forgot to mention before that you want Verbatims made in Singapore. The ones made in India use a different dye and the quality is questionable on them...
