For years, it was always the same: lottery tickets, short-sleeved oxford shirts, cologne, etc. At some point, I began to drop "hints." "Man," I wished out loud, "I wish I had a mini screwdriver kit about now." Alas, every year I am both surprised and dumbfounded by my Father's Day bounty. Don't get me wrong; I'm not ungrateful. Protocol dictates that I should get a tie, and I am happy to report that I have never received one; which is good because I don't wear them. Unlike Mother's Day (which usually involves flowers, candy and a restaurant outing), Father's Day is a mish-mosh day of last minute techy gift purchases that leave both sides smiling amicably; much like being a dad. So what are you getting, GBATemp? Any ideas? Personally, I'm hoping for a Windows 8 tablet, but will be more than content with an eyeglass repair kit, an SD card reader shaped like Homer Simpson or a food dehydrator.
