What are these weird symbols

    They're annoying as hell. Had problems with weird symbols in FF2 as well. IE6 and 7 doesn't do this..... please help.

    isn't it those unicode crap?
    because some sites for me in IE6/7 also has wierd Korean letters instead of many symbols.
    Well change your encoding to something else. (try unicode UTF-8 or something like that)

    Yep, it's when Firefox doesn't know how to read certain characters, and displays them in Hexadecimal format.

    Try changing your encoding as psycoblaster said or try to install more Conversion Code Tables in your Control Panel [​IMG]

    Speaking of languages, how can I install "moonspeak" so that peoples names in TF2 look like japanese and not freakin' squares...

    control panel > regional and language symbols > languages tab > install files for east asian languages

    You need a windows xp disc in the drive though.
