PS1/2 what are the best Ps2 games in past 8 months?

since i was away from PS2 for 8 months, what was its best titles in past 8 months?

p.s. why we dont have an essential list for ps2? i'll make one!

God of War II
GrimGrimoire seemed very good but not put a lot of time into it.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3

I hear Odin Square was pretty good too.

I know it came out in the last 8 months in Europe/UK but I think it was out for some time elsewhere. It is a pretty good game, its a shame it didn't do so well.

most of these are RPGs and i cant seem to find em here in my country.

Tomb Raider is bad? No way, I play it on PC and it's actually a really good action-platformer.

well i know it's been released for longer then 8 months but if you didin't play it get Shadow of the Colossus, i just finished it and i'm really impressed by how good this game was

played it, didnt catch me even after defeating 4 of them.

also look around and you should be able to find two really good guitar hero 2 hacker editions

Persona 3 definitely deserves a look.

Opinions are split on Odin Sphere, but I enjoyed it.

There's also Burnout Dominator, and, if you really need more GTA, Vice City Stories.

I've only played the 360 version, thought it was very good, but I hear the PS2 version is about the same but not as pretty.

I really love Okami, (my girlfriend keeps calling it cute dog, but meh) the game depicted a myth into a low-barrier casual fun story, the graphics is very charming, yet still doesn't lack any action.
The only thing is it's very Japanese (Japanese myth based game, can't expect it to be any NOT Japanese) and some people will not like it, especially if you don't understand their culture some parts may throw you off. (Like "Huh? Why?")

Personally, Odin Sphere was meh-
I'm still playing God of War 2, not sure when it came out but in last 8 months I think.
