I'm getting a new laptop soon and I'll once again (After sellign my desktop PC) be open to the world of current gen FPS games.

So what are peoples opinions on good online multiplayer games?

I still like playing Alien Vs Predator 2, Battlefield 2 and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I'm not huge on fast paced games (UT, Quake) but if you say they're GREAT I might give them a try. Something that allows team work is good too (Like BF2s squads).

Cheers!

Portal is not online.

As far as current-gen online FPS's for PC...
Well there's Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4. That's about it. Everything else is pretty much more of the same.

Am I right in assuming CS Source is like CS1.6 where you play by the round and wait it out if you die earlly? That used to bother me (Yeha I know the rounds are short lived...)?

Sounds like TF is a bit of a goer and Call of Duty 4 too.

'course I'll keep Avp, Moh:AA, BF1942, Quake, UT, all those old ones going. Just interested in what I've been missing since not having a faster video card.

cheers yall

I also reccomend Team Fortress 2. Great game, and if you die early you don't need to wait for the round to end before respawning.

Unless you're in Sudden Death, that is.

I wonder if people will start seeing the 3ds as useless and it'll start dropping in price now
  • g174m @ g174m:
    why

    Why post?

  • FAST6191 @ FAST6191:
3ds still seems to be an emulation powerhouse with little to counteract it (what are you going to use? A phone... hah). To that end second hand prices are likely to remain for a while
  • FAST6191 @ FAST6191:
That said 3ds has no games so one can hope
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Citra has gotten way more powerful iirc
  • K3N1 @ K3N1:
Everyone turned off the 3d anyway
    +1
  • SAIYAN48 @ SAIYAN48:
The 3D effect was nice to begin with, but even Nintendo stopped putting it into games.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @SAIYAN48, Red text again?
