That one is intentional :P "bagu" was the mistake, as he was suppose to be "bug". as in, "I am error" and "I am [a] bug". It was a jooooooke.

I either thought the quote was a bug or it was some Ye Olde English where his name is Error but with an accent. For all we know that could of been a real name back then.

Might not be a "translation error", but it doesn't gramatically make too much sense, and its my favorite Zelda line :D

Well, looking at the japanese, "i am error" is correct (well, "my name is error" is a better translation), but bagu should be "bug" and was probably mistranslated because bug in japanese is written phoenetically as "bagu". My guess is a computer "bug" in japanese just uses the english word "bug" as its base (rather than the japanese word for an insect, because it's a different kind of concept for them. insect, computer error, they different). Add a japanese pronunciation to an english word, create a phoenetical japanese spelling/word from that, and thus the confusion when translating it back into english. The programmers were making a joke, apparently, that got lost in translation lol.

My favorite part about that game is that all the move names are wrong, but they are only off by 1 entry in the index. They accidentally added a move to the top of the index, and all the other moves shifted down one space.

If I remember correctly bubble is ember; prize is tackle etc.

Actually I remember trying to play that rom, god what a nightmare

Damn, If i can find it, I'll post it. There was a popular poorly translated Korean RPG greentext from around 2007~8 that let you play normally for about 3 or 4 hours, but after you tried to leave a specific cave you run into this Warez Fairy and she rants about how you shouldnt pirate games... I remember reading here on GBAtemp too. What was that called...

Oh fOP guys guys I found it. This is a copypasta right from neogaf but fuck thoses guys just read the story:
