For me it'd probably be Ocarina of Time and Earthbound. They just got boring for me although I did like the fun dialogue in Earthbound.
I'm gonna start a bunch of arguments if this thread gets a decent amount of replies lol

    Majora's Mask?
Also, you know, IGN sucks, but WW... too much water.
Mario everything. It is not that I don't like them, but for me they are more meh than for 99% of others.

Undertale, most of the new Pokémon games (Sun and Moon especially), a majority of the Final Fantasy series, pretty much all of the 2D Mario platformers, the Mario Party series... I know there's more, but that's off the top of my head.

Ocarina of Time, and zelda in general. It was interesting when I was child, but honestly I don't have time to solve stupid puzzles and backtrack anymore. Breath of the wild looks fantastic though!

GTA and their clones (saint row? watch dogs?). I don't see the point of the game.

every first person/third person shooter games ever, with generic scifi background. except mass effect 2 and 3, I find most those games are basically the same. creativity is dead.

ni no kuni. good introduction, lame story pace. I grew bored after 10 hours. awkward battle too. could have been perfect had it been a turn based game. but they mashed up every jrpgs elements out there, and make it lack of unique identity.

dragon age inquisition. I have a love/hate relations with this game. the story is very cliched but the characters are quite interesting, howeever the amount of the fetch quests really ruin the game for me. gamification of game? sigh...

Halo, COD, mass effect, and all the popular first person shooter games basically. Did not like any GTA games. Never got into that type of stuff. I like RPG games mostly.

    Nes MegaMan (Legends is fine)
    SMB2
Sonic 1-3&Knuckles (not bad but don't care for em)
Mario Galaxy 1&2 (I feel they are overrated)
Street Fighter (I prefer Darkstalkers, Ehrgeiz, or Rival Schools)
Tetris (Attack is good but I dislike the main ones)
Super Mario World SNES (I am too used to the GBA port)
    WoW (not into MMORPGs)
Shovel Knight (good but way overhyped and not as good as other 2d platformers)
    Minecraft

Majora's Mask - don't get me wrong. The story is wonderful, Link falls into a parallel world/timeline that features really screwed up motifs? Yeah, pretty fun, but the resetting timeline makes me fearful and paranoid and I hate time limits on games that feature exploring dungeons and things.

The original 8 bit Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest/Dragon Warriors. Seriously, they are clunky and clumsy and I just want to flail until they go away. I understand that people programmed these when 8 bit computers were a thing, and limited processing power. But clunky menus just make me want to die. (Also, I am reminded of telnet rpgs from back in the day, but those had a little more charm to them...)

Every modern FPS. Limited weapons/ammo, and regenerating health? Yeah, kind of boring. Plus add to the mix of generic racist bullshit (it's always the US versus some country that doesn't speak English), and it's just really not to my taste. Doom/Mass Effect are different because sci-fi and better creativity...

Killer Instinct. It always felt like it was an "off-brand"/"knock-off" from Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Generic characters - let's see - a ninja, a scantily clad female ninja, a flame dude, an ice dude, a killer robot, a werewolf and a Native American stereotype. Well, MK wasn't much better - different coloured ninjas were a trademark of theirs. I loved watching the games in the arcades although.

Castlevania - my first game on the Gameboy, and it was Castlevania Adventures with blocky movement and stupid jumping controls. To this day, I can't finish it because I constantly fought with the controls. I find the originals slightly better - although the best of the best is Super Castlevania 4, or any of the GBA ones....

I played the GBA port before SNES. And I still think it's crap.
Washed out smaller screen, with worse music?

I agree, I don't like most Zelda games. I do like wind waker and majora's mask though.
Breath of the Wild is easily the best Zelda game in the series. I love it

    Well for me it is

    - More Nostalgia with the Gba port ( it was my first Mario game)
    - Better Controls
    - Is Portable
    - Screen Size is no issue ( I had a Gba player)
    - Voice acting ( Simple but neat)
    - A better Luigi

All of those things make the Gba port better in my opinion.

The first and most important thing to understand about Majora's Mask is that effectively there is no time limit. You can reset time whenever you want, and the variations on the Song of Time pretty much allow you to manipulate time as you see fit. The three-day cycle is there for two main reasons: verisimilitude and sidequests. It allowed the developers to implement realistic schedules for the characters in Termina, and allowed them to time out and plan sidequests based upon needing to be in a specific place at a specific time.

In fact, the ability to do something over - literally infinitely if you need to - allows you a lot more leeway than other games I can think of.

Yeah, nostalgia is pretty much the only thing holding these games in their positions. They were great for their time, but video games have moved on, and a lot of NES games have aged poorly, IMO. In fact, it and the original Playstation are probably the two consoles whose games have aged the worst; PSX due to graphics, NES due to horribly outdated design philosophy.

As for me, my personal one is Super Smash Brothers. The entire series. I really tried to give the series its fair shake; I've played every single one (although Sm4sh has pretty much only been played with my nephew, who loves the game). I just don't find it fun.

I understand that logically, I can use the Ocarina to manipulate time to my own benefits, but my lizard brain tells me..."No you can't start that quest if you are on the 2nd day..."

I find Smash great for "party games". The whole get smashed on cheap liquor while battling Nintendo characters with your friends fun, but competitive Smash does my head in. Otherwise, I can't play it too much. Smash is and has always been a thing to get together and play - and the graphics make it impossible to focus on more than one thing at one time.

Oh, and I forget...the original Fallout/Fallout 2. Seriously. It feels clunky and like playing/larping with an asinine DM. Oh, figure out your character sheet, never give your companions any splash damage weapons... Oh and I hated that I felt protective of Dogmeat, and I had to reload/redo any battle when he died. And he did die fifty thousand times because the reckless pupper would charge into battle to gnaw on all the enemies!
