If you dun have Live, then why not opt for RGH?
It works with the latest dash?

Update: I was able to crossflash the drive to an iHas 324E using DOS Flash but now my cd drive isn't reading any media.

DOS Flash is by far a more superior tool than the Flash Utility for Liteon Based Optical Drives.

Yep, Dash version has no relation to RGH.
All you need is a NAND-X/Jrunner and a CR4 XL chip.

DOS flash doesn't rely on syscalls and whatnot.
Anything in DOS is superior to windows based applications when it comes to hacking.

So I crossflashed my drive back to ASUS from iHAS. In the process of cross flashing, I had somehow messed up my original firmware and EEPROM which caused my dvd drive to constantly blink and not read any dvds. Here are the steps I took to fix my drive. Everything I did is documented from post#126. I'm putting this here because I know someone in the future is going to run into the same issue.

Update: XGD3 games don't burn so well on Memorex's at 4x speed. Wasted 3 dvds trying to burn one game. Buying only Verbatims (MK-003) in the future.
