The topic pretty much sums it all up.

Just want to know what I should, at the moment, have on my Wii (HBC).

Also, how would I go about installing a .dol app? I have no idea how.

If you are a little experienced with FTP then FTPii would be a fine addition.

You would need a drawer called APPS on your SD card, inside you need a folder with the name of the .dols app and the .dol needs to be renamed to boot.dol

    Example: SD/APPS/WAD MANAGER/boot.dol

Then put SD back in your Wii, load HBC and there is your newly added app, in this case WAD MANAGER.

So I want to install superdunp.dol, I would make a SUPERDUMP folder in my APPS folder, rename superdump.dol to boot.dol and put it in the SUPERDUMP folder?

    Exactly.

Edit: Its not like you´re installing the app, it needs to be executed every time you want to use it, therefor it needs to stay in the APPS folder on your SD card.
