Just recently, my giant Sony headphones (everyone has them nowadays, I think you know which ones I'm talking about) were screwing up on my DS. I was so pissed off because these were REALLY nice headphones.

So just today, after I went to buy The Alchemist (expect a book ad on that in the forum soon

), I stopped by Shopper's Drug Mart since they sell the headphones I have at a nice low price. So I bought them, got out of the store, opened the package carefully, and put the headphones on my head, and FINALLY, I plugged in the headphone jack.

To my surprise it was the exact same thing with my old pair of headphones!!

Turns out it was my DS headphone jack that was screwed up. All the metal contacts must've put themselves out of place.

I screwed up pretty big this time, so now, since I got a new pair, I'm gonna put my old pair in the box and make an exchange or something.

I'll know this day as the day my DS deceived me...

Well, since you have made me curious now and I really like big headphones (grin) you should at least go ahead and tell us the exact name of them !

Here's a picture of them. I'm sure you see a lot of people wearing these. Or maybe it's just Toronto. But if I were to walk around the streets of Yonge, I could find a couple dozen people wearing them.

Looks like the headphones outlasted my DS, soundwise.

The code is "Sony's MDRV250V Studio Monitor Series Headphones".

Nothing fancy, but I think my friend has a pair similar to that.

Maybe slighly bulkier.

I'd reccomend getting a pair of Sennheisers if those Sonys ever break, though.

lol, funny that's what I was thinking of getting, but they're a bit pricier. The ones I got were $29.99 Canadian.

Bought myself a pair of SENNHEISER HD 280PRO right before Christmas. I love them and never go anywhere without them.
