might be cool if they converted games that actually used 3d glasses, but made the effect better. Games like World Runner and Rad Racer had 3d on the original NES if you pressed select, but I remember the effect being pretty bad. I would like to see Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Star Fox would probably look awesome but I am not sure how the 2d side scrollers would work but than again Excitebike worked pretty good...

I'm pretty sure these are going to be NES games, they mentioned Super Mario Bros and Punch-out quite some time ago. In Iwata asks there are about 6 total in the series too. That said, I would love to see

-Super Mario bros. 3 (Probably won't happen, they were mad at how xevious took so long to make in 3D)
-Donkey Kong
-Mario Bros.
-Balloon Fight
-..Just arcade games really, high score stuff perfect for the format.

Making me pay more for older games with some "3D effect" in them? I'll pass.

Only games I could see actually decent for this though are the original Star Fox for the SNES and like Super Mario Kart or something.

-Super Mario Bros.
-Pokémon Red/Blue
-Bio-Hazard Battle (is however not a Nintendo game. Very unlikely

-the first Zelda game would be interesting, I guess.
-Super Mario World 3 would be awesome in 3D Classic too.

I don't think it would be worth it since both of those games are getting their own retail 3d remakes.

Who cares about the 3D?

I'll take some SNES games on the 3D Classics, they have a lot of potential for depth since they tend to have tons of background layers. It's something i noticed with Excitebike, they had to redo the backgrounds to be better suited for the 3D effect (added some parallax and scrolling effects).

- Yoshi's Island
- DKC trilogy
- Mario RPG
- Super Metroid
- Final Fantasy VI
- Chrono Trigger

I could think of more, but i'll pass. They showed SNES games for this service (before it was technically even a service) last year at E3. I have hope they'll bring more than just NES games to 3D Classics. Maybe even some SEGA Genesis.

Well, why would you buy a retro game now? (Aside from collecting) If they didn't add anything, you might as well emulate on a PC or something.
