I mean I prefer the way CRT’s look for a lot of stuff

But the only advantage I really knew about was the much better latency
If I recall correctly, CRT’s have better latency than most modern monitors even

It depends on the CRT you get. Alot of gamers like the dithering effects and smoother graphics from a Composite signal on a crt.

One advantage is motion clarity. Crt's can get down to 1ms of image persistence while 60hz lcds get to 16ms. So LCD's are blurry in motion.

Deep blacks too. Some CRT's have a black tinted tube which gives them higher then 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Probably around 50,000:1. I don't have a dark tinted one to measure myself. But minimum I measured on my non tinted tube is around 10,000:1.

IPS panels by comparison have about 1,000:1. VA panels have higher contrast but weak viewing angles. Which CRT's are superior at. CRT's have very wide wide angles much wider then OLED. There's local dimming panels that get get deeper blacks but they have halo artifacts at local dimming zones. Which messes with accuracy and is usually turned off because its no good for accurately displaying stuff like lens flare effects.

OLED displays are the real competitor to CRT's but they suffer from motion blur just like LCD's do.

that's nintendo, you don't get these issues on xbox(you do also get em on playstation) also, third-party options, like the sn30 pro don't have these issues

I use a CRT for movies because I like the image on it better then my LCD when I'm at my computer. That's when I'm not using my Oled. But I usually default to my Oled when I'm not at my desk, I prefer the bigger screen.

Anything HDR is oled since crts can't do HDR. But most content is not HDR. The majority of stuff I watch is in SDR so a CRT is still perfectly fine. And I have my OLED calibrated to match my CRT.
