I was playing donkey kong country 2 on snes9tyl. The battery drained rather quickly. Said 0%. Then when I went back to the psp menu, it went back up to 80%. Obviously the battery is acting up. I know sony doesn't make official ones anymore. I can't find any decent ratings on third party batteries. So I was thinking of buying these:

Would this be a good solution?

Not a bad idea. The problem is finding decent 3rd party batteries are a crap shot. Some are decent, some are awful. I would look at any local retro gaming store as they tend to sell replacement batteries for about 10. If nothing like that is in your area then amazon would be your best bet; but again finding decent batteries are hard.
